Shall and Will

Shall - plan to, intend to, or expect to.

Will - about to or going to.

Shall is for the first person. Will (or won’t) is used for second or third person. However will can be used for first person when showing determination: I will read that book!

Shall is falling out of fashion and generally used for idioms like “shall we dance?”
